Ayurvedic Remedy for Ananthavatha type of Headache

Raise in vata, pitta and kapha, the three doshas that govern the body, can result in ananthavatha. This settles in the back of the head and cause stiffness of veins. Further, shivering of eyebrows and cheeks, and headaches can be seen.  Also, debilitation of teeth, nose, eyes and ears, the primary parts in the face, can occur.  Total body weakness is seen  ananthavatha. Slight movement of head can result in severe headache.  Internal and external measures need to be taken to bring the tridoshas to normal level.

Start taking triphala choorna. Apply and massage sesame oil to the whole body to improve blood flow. Avoid excessive salt, sourness, and chilli in food.

Ingredients:

  • Bala / country mallow or heart-leaf sida / Sida cordifolia / ముత్తవపులగం
  • Bermuda grass / Cynodon dactylon / గరిక గడ్డి
  • Black sesame seeds / Kala Til ka Thel (काला तिल) / Nalla Nuvvulu (నువ్వులు) [Buy Online at Amazon India / US / Canada / UK]
  • Horse purslane, Giant pigweed / Trianthema portulacastrum / Shvetamula (श्वेतमूला) / Bawra (बवरा) / Thella galijaeru (తెల్ల గలిజేరు)

Preparation:
Take the above in equal quantities, add little water, grind and extract juice.

Usage:
Three drops of this juice in both nostrils morning and evening. This will help relieve the symptoms.
